Matt Cutts, Cat Blogger

According to Neilsen metrics, 99% of the blogosphere is comprised of “cat” posts. This trend began five years ago, when crankygeek John C. Dvorak (inventor of the Dvorak Mouse) issued a challenge to the kitty-loving world.

Within months, blog search indexes like Technoerrati and BlogDagger were flooded with meowy messages and faux feline fansites. Cat bloggers look up to one industry puppet in particular: Henrietta Pussycat. Says Henrietta about the Neilsen number:

Meow meow meow happy, meow. Meow screwed meow meow meow meow meow. Bastards meow meow meow. Meow meow meow moew meow meow spam meow.

In an effort to curb growth of this virtual litter box, Google has begun blacklisting bloggers who have [at one time] published posts about their cat.
