Hear, hear! My phone's only add-on is a camera (which I've never used) only because I couldn't find one without last time I needed a new one. I'm hanging on to this one for dear life.
I do believe many cellphones already have GPS to enable finding out where they are located by police and other such authorities, but all the other "features" can only drain the battery, so by the time you really need to use it as a phone, the phone dies on you. Get an iPod and a digital camera that actually takes good pictures rather than the fuzzy stuff cellphones capture. Why compromise with a cellphone that does everything, but none of them well?
