That cartoon has a grain of truth, I run multiple command prompt (DOS prompt) windows in XP, and they use a lot of CPU.

[...] Ja, mein Windows XP Pro ist definitiv die letzte Version eines Betriebssystems aus dem Hause MS, ich hab’ von dem Plempl die Nase voll und will mich auf eventuelle DRM-Irritationen seitens Vista gar nicht erst einlassen. Debian/Ubuntu wird sich bald auf allen meinen Kisten breitmachen und XP vielleicht noch als Virtual Machine Unterschlupf gewähren, mal sehen… Drum kommt mir diese Illustration gerade recht… [...]

[...] Vista, oder nicht Vista? Nein, das ist eigentlich gar keine Frage. Ich pers�nlich bin ja der Meinung es ist nicht unbedingt n�tig von XP auf Vista umzusteigen. Und dieser Meinung bin ich nicht nur, weil meine alte Schrottkiste unter Vista zusammenbrechen w�rde. Auf der anderen Seite konnte ich letzte Woche bei einem Freund Vista mal live erleben. Zugegeben, rein optisch macht das neue Microsoft Betriebssystem schon was her. Durchsichtige Fenster, die Vorschau beim Windows-Tab-Wechsel, alles ganz schnittig. Auch das neue Microsoft Office hat mit seinen Reitern irgendwie etwas. Aber das sind eben nur rein optische Eindr�cke. Als jemand der lange an Windows 98 festgehalten hat, um dann erst auf XP umzusteigen, beeindruckt mit Optik dann doch reichlich wenig. I don’t know him, his comics are hilarious. It doesn’t look like he has posted any comics recently, but he has a personnel blog/site at http://www.bradfitzpatrick.com/weblog/. He updates that site every once in a while, sometimes with new comics.2. Explosm.net This web comic here is known as Cyanide and Happiness. It’s also very funny but not related to blogging or anything like that. They have several artists and I really don’t know that much about them.
