As of this post, Google’s Teach Parents Tech initiative has served 7,263 parents! You can, in a sense, send your parents a tech support “care package” by choosing which videos they might make the most use of — from copy & paste to resizing a picture. They give really simple explanations with a screencast, and we think it’d be helpful for those of us with parents who are… a little behind the times.
The only problem: The tutorials depend on an embedded video. With my luck, mom won’t have Flash installed.
